Adam Bradley, PGSA President 2007-2008
In my year as PGSA President I learned the importance of
organization. Not that I was not
an organized person before assuming the office, but I came to see how important
it is to be organized in a leadership setting. For example, one cannot walk into a meeting without an
agenda (it says so in the by-laws!!!).
That there is such a statement in the by-laws shows how important it is
to be organized. In my term as
president I learned to be on top of things. As little as we do in the PGSA our most important event, the
annual graduate student recruitment Open House, took all of my attention. Since effort was spent to bring me here
I feel I have a duty to put forth effort to recruit future incoming classes of
strong CWRU Physics graduate students.
In the PGSAÕs brief history we have had nothing but strong leaders and I
am glad to be a part of that legacy.
Cathy Bailey, my predecessor, was an excellent example to follow and a
valued asset during this last year.
I look forward to being the same for whoever assumes the office after
me.
