Practice Problem #11: Solving for the E-field by Direct Integration

Remarks:

I've given this problem as homework in the past. But I think it works better as an "example problem" so that you can see how the method works.

Remember, you need to know how to set these kinds of problems up but this is a physics class, not a calculus class.

This is more of a practice homework problem than a practice exam problem. It's too "long and technical" for an exam question.
